BT: Claire Gillies to head up Consumer division

(CercleFinance.com) - BT Group announces that Marc Allera will step down as CEO of the Consumer division on March 31, 2025, after a transition period with Claire Gillies, who will become CEO-Designate from December 10, 2024.


Claire Gillies will officially take up her position on April 1, 2025, and will join the Executive Committee.

CEO Allison Kirkby praised Marc Allera's contributions, including the integration of EE, the BT Sport partnership with Warner Bros Discovery, and the launch of the New EE brand.

She also expressed confidence in Claire Gillies, described as 'an experienced leader in international telecoms and retail'.
