ABB: 80% reduction in CO2 emissions at Saltillo in 2 years
(CercleFinance.com) - ABB announces that its production site in Saltillo, Mexico, has reduced its emissions by 80% in two years, or more than 5,200 tons of CO₂e compared with 2022.
This reduction is based on intelligent building technologies, photovoltaic panels supplying 980 MWh per year and the purchase of renewable energy via I-REC certificates. The site uses the ABB Ability Energy Manager system to optimize energy consumption in real time.
