Airbus: Emirates takes delivery of first A350-900
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that Emirates has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900, marking a key milestone in its fleet expansion strategy.
The model, designed to bolster medium- and long-haul operations, is part of an order for 65 aircraft to support Dubai's Economic Agenda, which aims to add 400 cities to its business map over the next ten years.
The aircraft, configured in three classes for 312 passengers, will introduce HBCplus connectivity to the Middle East and reduces fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions by 25% thanks to modern technologies.
Airbus is aiming for full compatibility with sustainable fuels (SAF) by 2030.
