Volkswagen: 400ᵉ contract for ELV center network

(CercleFinance.com) - Volkswagen Group France announces the signing of its 400ᵉ contract as part of its network of ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) centers approved as an individual system since June 2024.


This scheme, carried out in partnership with MAN Truck & Bus France, stems from the 2020 AGEC law aimed at improving the recycling of end-of-life vehicles.

The aim is to create a network of 600 to 800 centers by the end of 2025.

Xavier Chardon, Chairman of the Management Board of Volkswagen Group France, commented: "We are very pleased to have met with such success with those involved in automotive recycling.

This project is based on a partnership with Tracauto to examine applications and manage contracts.
