Fermentalg: share up on analyst comments

(CercleFinance.com) - Fermentalg shares were one of the biggest winners on the Paris Bourse on Friday, benefiting from a note from TP ICAP Midcap in which the broker began its monitoring of the stock as a buyer.


At noon, the stock was up over 6%, leaving the CAC Mid & Small index on the starting blocks, virtually flat.

In a note, TP ICAP Midcap hailed an "eco-company on the road to profitability" and set a target price of E0.6, giving it a whopping 100% upside potential.

As a pioneer in omega-3 derived from microalgae and in 100% natural blue dyes, we believe Fermentalg has the assets and resources to deliver on its promise of a trajectory towards operating breakeven, supported in particular by its strategic partnerships with Huvepharma and Givaudan, the investment services provider says.

Based on conservative pricing assumptions, the company expects to break even by the fourth quarter of 2026', it predicts.

Fermentalg produces microalgae-based ingredients for nutrition, health and the environment, including nutritional lipids, alternative proteins and natural food colorants.
