Bombardier: 75 speed records for the Global 7500
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier announced on Thursday that its Global 7500 business jet had recently set new speed records, with more than 75 records to its credit.
The Canadian aerospace group reports that its aircraft, which has a top speed of Mach 0.925 (some 1,160 km/h) and a range of 14,260 km, flew from Tokyo-Hong Kong in just 3 hours and 40 minutes.
The aircraft also managed to link New Delhi and Tokyo in just seven hours, and Los Angeles and Auckland in 11 hours and 55 minutes.
Bombardier recalls that the Global 7500 is accustomed to setting records, as in 2019 it flew 8225 nautical miles between Sydney and Detroit, the longest flight ever recorded in business aviation.
