Volkswagen: new CEO for Volkswagen Group of America

(CercleFinance.com) - Volkswagen Group announces the appointment of Kjell Gruner as CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, effective from 12 December.


Kjell Gruner will succeed Pablo Di Si, who decided to leave the company last week.

Until Kjell Gruner takes up his post, Gerrit Spengler, CHRO of Volkswagen Group of America, will act as interim CEO.

Kjell Gruner is an expert on the US market, with more than 25 years' experience in the automotive industry and a strong track record in exploiting and developing growth opportunities in North America, Volkswagen Human Resources said.
