Alphabet: KPMG-Google Cloud partnership intensifies
(CercleFinance.com) - KPMG announced on Wednesday that it will invest $100 million in its partnership with Google Cloud in the USA, an expense that it expects to quickly pay for itself.
In a press release, the auditing firm explains that this new agreement aims to collaborate around new technologies that should enable customers to solve complex business problems, modernize data management and deploy responsible AI projects.
The main sectors targeted will be consumer, retail, healthcare and financial services.
According to KPMG, the extension of its partnership with the Alphabet subsidiary should enable it to generate around a billion dollars in additional sales.
The firm points out that customer orders for Google Cloud applications have increased tenfold in the last two years.
In view of this success, KPMG decided to set up a Google Center of Excellence in April to centralize product development.
KPMG explains that it has already begun using Google's Vertex AI platform, notably to design generative AI assistants for its customers in areas such as knowledge assistance or data management.
Also in the AI field, Google announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with start-up Rezolve Ai, this time aimed at developing AI tools for retail.
