Bouygues: ten-year CPPA signed with Statkraft
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Telecom announces that it has signed a 10-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with the Norwegian group Statkraft for the purchase of renewable energy, for a total volume of 35 GWh/year.
This energy will be supplied from the beginning of 2025 by two recently commissioned French photovoltaic power plants, for a total of 13 GWh/year. Three other solar power plants, to be commissioned by mid-2025, will reinforce this production.
This signature reinforces the operator's commitment to cover its electricity needs with renewable energies, by favoring long-term fixed-price PPA-type contracts, complemented by investments in renewable guarantees of origin.
