Microsoft: expanded industrial partnership with Rockwell

(CercleFinance.com) - US industrial equipment manufacturer Rockwell Automation announced on Tuesday that it has extended its strategic collaboration with software giant Microsoft.


Under the terms of the agreement, the two partners plan to offer their customers in the manufacturing industry advanced tools based on both the cloud and AI with the aim of enabling them to better analyze their data, optimize their activities and generate operational efficiencies.

In a press release, Rockwell says it plans to demonstrate these new functionalities developed with the Redmond, Washington-based group at the Automation Fair dedicated to industrial automation systems, currently taking place in Anaheim, California.
