Morgan Stanley: invests in FoodScience via MSCP

(CercleFinance.com) - Morgan Stanley reports that investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (MSCP) have acquired FoodScience, an integrated provider of nutritional supplements for animals and humans, from Wind Point Partners.


Based in Vermont, FoodScience takes a science-based approach to the formulation, manufacture, marketing and distribution of nutritional supplements, under brands such as VetriScience, DaVinci and Pet Naturals.

James Stewart, Managing Director of MSCP, praised FoodScience's 50+ year heritage and commitment to 'safe and effective' products.

Sharon Rossi, FoodScience's CEO, expressed her satisfaction at joining forces with MSCP to accelerate the company's growth through strategic acquisitions.
