Thales: strengthened offering in data security

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announced on Tuesday that it has strengthened its 'CipherTrust as a Service' data security platform with the integration of new encryption functionalities.


The French technology group explains that the addition of its 'CipherTrust Transparent Encryption' (CTE) solution is intended to enhance the protection of files and cloud storage in increasingly complex environments.

According to Thales, companies use an average of 84 cloud applications (SaaS), exposing them to online threats and data leakage risks.

The group had launched its CipherTrust data security platform in 2023 with the aim of simplifying operations in both on-premise and cloud environments.
