Voltalia: contract for a solar power plant in Andalusia

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia has announced the signing of a contract with Green Arrow Capital for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 135-megawatt solar power plant in Seville, Andalusia.


Construction of the plant, covering an area of 169 hectares and including 192,864 photovoltaic panels, will start in 2024, with full commissioning in 2025. Voltalia will operate and maintain the facility for at least two years.

The contract with Green Arrow Capital marks the resumption of major construction contracts in Spain, one of the world's most dynamic photovoltaic markets, 'making it a key growth area for Voltalia'.
