Getlink: ElecLink to resume operations in early December

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink reports that the resumption of operations at its electrical interconnection subsidiary ElecLink is expected on December 2, and that the suspension of this activity until that date will have an additional commercial impact estimated at around 13 million euros.


As a reminder, on September 26, the Channel Tunnel operator reported a malfunction on the electrical interconnector between France and Great Britain, which led to the temporary suspension of its activity.

While repair work on the cable is progressing satisfactorily, two weeks of downtime have been added as a precautionary measure, in order to finalize the work and carry out additional tests. The Group's 2024 EBITDA target is confirmed at this stage.
