Palantir: transfer to Nasdaq, share price rises

(CercleFinance.com) - Last night, Palantir announced plans to transfer the listing of its shares to the Nasdaq, a move that led to a sharp rise in its Wall Street share price.


The predictive data analysis specialist explains that it has applied to the New York Stock Exchange to stop trading its ordinary shares on the NYSE and to admit them to the Nasdaq at the same time.

The Denver-based software developer expects its admission to the Nasdaq to take place on Tuesday November 26.

In a press release, Palantir stresses that it expects to meet all the eligibility criteria for inclusion on the Nasdaq 100 from its first listing on the technology-intensive market.

Following this announcement, Palantir shares gained over 6% on Friday morning, bringing their year-to-date gains to more than 244%.
