Renault: Dacia Duster nominated for Car of the Year
(CercleFinance.com) - Dacia announced on Friday that its new Duster was one of seven finalists for the 'Car of the Year 2025' award, a first for the Renault group's low-cost brand.
The automotive group reports that the 60-member jury selected its compact SUV from the 42 vehicles initially in the running for this coveted international award.
Since its launch in 2010, the Duster has sold over 2.5 million units, making it one of the best-selling B-segment SUVs in Europe since 2018.
The third-generation Duster, known for its value for money, starts at 19,890 euros.
The 'Car of the Year' trophy will be awarded on January 10, 2025 at the Brussels Motor Show.
In addition to the new Duster, the Renault 5 E-Tech electric, the Alpine A290 and the Alfa Romeo Junior are also among the seven finalists for the trophy.
