ABB celebrates 20th anniversary of Shanghai factory

(CercleFinance.com) - ABB celebrates the 20th anniversary of its instrumentation plant in Shanghai.


'This plant has supported the rapid growth of the automation market in China as well as the country's economic development since 2004,' says the group.

The plant manufactures high-performance instruments that help measure, analyze, control and improve a wide range of industrial processes.

In 2004, the plant started by manufacturing a single product, one of ABB's iconic pressure transmitters. Today, it boasts a broad portfolio, producing pressure, flow, level, temperature and analysis products.

' The plant's growth reflects the rapid development of the automation market in China and around the world', said Susan Pan, regional director of ABB Measurement & Analytics.
