Iliad: 377,000 new subscribers in Q3
(CercleFinance.com) - iliad announced on Thursday that it had won 377,000 new fixed-line and mobile subscribers in the third quarter, a sales performance that enabled it to increase sales by 8.
4% over the period.
Over the first nine months of the year, the French group - now Europe's fifth-largest telecom operator - posted a 9.7% increase in sales to 7.5 billion euros, with the addition of 1.7 million new subscribers.
Profitability also improved, with EBITDAaL - the sector's key indicator of profitability - up 13.6% to almost 2.9 billion euros in the first nine months of the year.
Despite competition deemed to be "increasing", iliad confirms its sales target of 10 billion euros by 2024, thanks to market share gains.
At the end of September, iliad had 1.3 billion euros in cash and cash equivalents, and 2.7 billion euros in liquid assets.
