Iliad: 377,000 new subscribers in Q3
(CercleFinance.com) - iliad announced on Thursday that it had won 377,000 new fixed-line and mobile subscribers in Q3, a performance that enabled it to increase sales by 8.
4% over the period.
Over the first nine months of the year, the French group - now Europe's fifth-largest telecom operator - posted a 9.7% increase in sales to E7.5bn, with the addition of 1.7 million new subscribers.
Profitability also improved, with EBITDAaL - the sector's key indicator of profitability - up 13.6% to almost E2.9bn in 9m 2024.
Despite competition deemed to be "increasing", iliad confirms its sales target of E10bn in 2024, thanks to market share gains.
At the end of September, iliad had E1.3bn in cash and cash equivalent, and E2.7bn in liquid assets.
