Toyota: takes action after certification worries

(CercleFinance.com) - The heads of the four Toyota Group companies - Hino Motors, Daihatsu, Toyota Industries and Toyota Motor - have collaborated to resolve vehicle certification problems encountered since 2022.


Akio Toyoda has launched the 'Akio Toyoda's Juku TPS Jishuken for Certification Work' initiative to improve the certification process, from planning to production, using the kaizen method.

The initiative comes after the group had to deal with repeated certification errors since 2022.

Toyoda has encouraged a culture of understanding problems rather than blaming. The aim is to react quickly to difficulties and improve collaboration within the group to resolve these issues.
