Nexans: targets set for the period 2025-28

(CercleFinance.com) - Ahead of its Investor Day scheduled for today in London, Nexans unveils its targets for the 2025-28 period, including an adjusted EBITDA of 1.
15 billion euros (give or take 75 million) for 2028, as it continues its reorientation towards electrification activities.

It is also aiming for a return on capital employed of over 20%, capital expenditure of around 1.2 billion euros and cumulative free cash flow before M&A and capital transactions estimated at around 1.4 billion between 2025 and 2028.

On its electrification perimeter, Nexans anticipates a compound annual growth rate of between +3 and +5% (on an organic basis), as well as an increase in adjusted EBITDA of 350 million euros between 2024 and 2028.

In terms of capital allocation, it plans selective acquisitions and controlled leverage, as well as a progressive dividend policy with a minimum payout ratio of 30%, and share buybacks to avoid dilution.
