Eiffage: joint venture wins contract with Leaselex

(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage, through Valens (a subsidiary of Eiffage Construction in Belgium), has announced that it has won, in a consortium with BPC Group, the contract awarded by Leaselex, a subsidiary of the Belgian real estate group Atenor, to build the Realex project in the heart of the European quarter in Brussels.


The contract includes a complex comprising the future conference center of the European Commission on almost 26,000 m2, independent office space on just under 18,000 m2 as well as retail space and around 225 underground parking spaces.

By aiming for BREEAM certification at the 'Outstanding (Design Stage)' level, this project will meet 'the most stringent standards in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency, Eiffage says.
