GetLink: mixed traffic for shuttles in October

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink announces that LeShuttle carried 147,919 passenger cars in October 2024, down 12% y-o-y, which nevertheless benefited from the impact of the Rugby World Cup.


In contrast, the Channel Tunnel operator states that its LeShuttle Freight truck shuttle service carried 106,834 trucks last month, up 8% y-o-y.

Since 1 January nearly 1.9 million passenger cars and almost one million trucks have crossed the Channel on Eurotunnel's shuttle services, down by 3% and 1% respectively on the first ten months of 2023.
