AXA: EU approves purchase of Nobis by Italian subsidiary

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Nobis Compagnia di Assicurazioni ('Nobis') by AXA Assicurazioni, both based in Italy.


The transaction mainly concerns the insurance sector in Italy.

The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given the limited combined market position of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction.
