Egide: slightly less funds raised than expected

67 million euros in its capital increase, some 7% less than the technology group had initially targeted.

At the end of the subscription period, total demand amounted to 611,444 ABSA (shares with share warrants) on an irreducible basis, 2,607,853 on a reducible basis and 122,078 on an unrestricted basis, representing a subscription rate of 92.5%.

In a press release, the manufacturer of hermetic enclosures for electronic components nevertheless described the result as "very encouraging", reflecting the confidence of its investors, even though it had originally sought to raise some 1.8 million euros.

The funds raised will enable the company to finance its investment policy, particularly in cutting-edge technologies, pursue its financial recovery, improve its competitiveness and consolidate its position in its markets.

On the Paris Bourse, Egide shares were down by around 5% on Monday morning following the announcement of the results of this capital increase.
