Eni: new EIP investment in Plenitude
(CercleFinance.com) - Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP) reports that it has signed an agreement on behalf of its clients to increase its stake in Plenitude, an Eni subsidiary integrating renewable energy generation, energy sales and energy services.
The investment company will inject around E209m into Plenitude's capital structure, increasing its commitment to a combined 10% shareholding.
This increase follows EIP's initial investment in March, bringing the total amount invested to around E800m. The transaction remains subject to the usual legal approvals.
The follow-up investment reflects Plenitude's impressive performance and its ability to exceed its strategic objectives. The new capital will support Plenitude's continued growth and distinctive integrated business model, explains EIP.
