Nexans: agreement for the sale of AmerCable

(CercleFinance.com) - Nexans announces that it has reached an agreement to sell its North American subsidiary AmerCable to Mattr for $280 million, subject to the usual regulatory conditions precedent.


A major North American producer of power, instrumentation and control cables for hostile environments, AmerCable employs 300 people and expects sales of 234 million euros in 2023.

This transaction is expected to be finalized towards the end of the year. It marks a new milestone in the implementation of Nexans' strategy to reposition itself as a pure player in electrification.
