Crédit Agricole: share buyback program completed
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole SA announces that it has completed its share buyback program, which began on October 1: as of November 6, 15,128,677 shares have been purchased, for a total price of nearly 208.
5 million euros.
As a reminder, this operation is designed to offset the dilutive effect of the 2024 capital increase reserved for employees, and the shares purchased will be cancelled. Its impact on Crédit Agricole SA's CET1 ratio is -5 basis points.
The irrevocable instruction given to an independent investment services provider for these share buybacks has been terminated, and the execution of the liquidity contract with Kepler Cheuvreux, suspended during the execution of the program, will resume.
