Alstom: signs contract with Terna in Italy
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom and d'Iselfa Morsetteria have announced the signing of a contract worth 15 million euros, including options, with Terna, the Italian electricity transmission grid operator.
The contract covers the supply of unified terminal blocks for the modernization of high-voltage power lines in Italy.
The contract has been signed for a period of 24 months, with the possibility of a further 24-month extension.
' The signing of this contract not only demonstrates the excellence of our products, but also represents an important recognition for our Valmadrera site, where we invested around 2 million euros last year' said Michele Viale, Managing Director of Alstom Italy.
