GE Vernova commissions LNG power plant in Korea
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces the start of commercial operations at the Tongyeong Eco Power plant in South Korea.
Fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), this one-gigawatt power plant supplies approximately one million Korean households, the company points out.
For this project, GE Vernova supplied gas and steam turbines, as well as generators, and ensures their maintenance over 17 years.
