GE Vernova: opening of a Competence Center in Berlin
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces the expansion of its electrification center in Berlin with the opening of a Competence Center for HVDC (high voltage direct current) technology.
This center will develop solutions to stabilize grids and integrate more renewable energy in Europe, also supporting global HVDC projects.
The center will strengthen GE Vernova's ability to accompany the energy transition in Europe, while supporting electrification and decarbonization.
In line with Germany's system stability roadmap, this initiative aims to achieve 80% renewable energy by 2030.
More than 500 jobs will be created by 2025 to support this development.
