Eni: commissions solar power plant in France
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces that its company Plenitude has commissioned a new photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 5 MW in Bouillac (France).
Eni estimates that the plant will produce 6,700 MWh of electricity per year. It will be connected to the local distribution grid via a 1.7 km underground medium-voltage line. The electricity generated will be marketed by Plenitude in line with its integrated business model.
The project involves rehabilitating an old clay extraction quarry that is currently disused, in line with government guidelines aimed at promoting photovoltaic parks on this type of land.
The start-up of this plant represents a new milestone for Plenitude, confirming our determination to seize the opportunities offered by a country like France in the renewable energies sector, Plenitude Renewables explains.
