Safran: contract to equip Singapore Navy

(CercleFinance.com) - Safran announces that Safran Electronics & Defense has been selected by the Singapore Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) to equip its navy ships.


The contracts signed concern the supply of optronic observation systems and processing units for GFCS (Gun Fire Control System) fire control systems.

They will equip the Singapore Navy's new MultiRole Combat Vessel (MRCV) and Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV).

The sighting system includes high-definition sensors and a multispectral telescope, for long-range target identification, day and night, and in difficult weather conditions.
