Solvay: technology licensing agreement with North Huajin
(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay announces that it has reached an agreement to license its advanced hydrogen peroxide technology to the Chinese group North Huajin, to manufacture 300 kilotons of propylene oxide per year at its Panjin plant, with a planned launch in 2026.
For North Huajin, the Belgian chemical group will provide its large-scale proprietary process, together with a process design package, operational expertise and support services to ensure reliable and optimized production.
In addition, Solvay will supply 2-amylanthraquinone (AQ), the key chemical contributing to the high productivity and environmentally friendly chemical process of its mega-plant technology.
