TechnipFMC: offshore wind agreement with Prysmian

(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC and Prysmian have announced the signature of a collaboration agreement aimed at accelerating the global development of floating offshore wind power to meet the growing demand for renewable electricity.


The collaboration will draw on TechnipFMC's expertise in system design and integration for offshore applications, as well as Prysmian's global leadership in the production and installation of subsea power cable systems.

The companies aim to deliver the optimized solution through a fully integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI) business model.

TechnipFMC said that this collaboration strengthens both companies' position in this emerging market by offering an integrated solution that accelerates energisation and reduces costs, while improving overall system reliability.
