Bureau Veritas: acquires APP Group in Australia

(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas announces that it has reached an agreement to acquire the Australian APP Group, a strategic transaction that will strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and extend its capabilities in infrastructure projects.


APP provides independent verification and certification services, construction supervision, project management assistance and consultancy throughout the asset lifecycle in the buildings and infrastructure sector.

It employs over 500 experts and provides access to a pool of over 200 specialised subcontractors. With a strong presence in transport infrastructure, buildings and social infrastructure and facilities, it manages a portfolio of over 200 customers.

Headquartered in Sydney, the company generated sales of E87m in 2023. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by the end of the year.
