Viridien: cooptation of an independent director
(CercleFinance.com) - Viridien announces the co-option by its Board of Directors, on the recommendation of the Compensation, Appointments and Governance Committee, of Amélie Oyarzabal as an independent director to replace Helen Lee Bouygues.
This cooptation, which will be submitted for ratification to the AGM in 2025, is valid for the remainder of Helen Lee Bouygues' term of office, i.e. until the close of the AGM called to approve the financial statements for the year 2027.
The Board has appointed Amélie Oyarzabal as a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and the New Business and M&A Committee. Managing Director Sophie Zurquiyah will chair the latter on an interim basis until a replacement is appointed.
Amélie Oyarzabal has over 25 years' experience in financial consulting. A managing partner at Lazard Frères for 16 years, she joined Greenhill & Co in 2019 as managing director to open its French office, which she heads.
