Meta: EPS up 37% in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Meta Platforms, the operator of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, unveiled a 37% increase in Q3 2024 EPS to $6.
03, with its operating margin improving three points to 43%. NB: pmt -1.3%.

The social networking giant's quarterly revenues rose by 19% to nearly $40.6bn, while its average daily users grew by 5% y-o-y to 3.29 billion in September.

Meta anticipates revenues of between $45bn and $48bn this quarter, and now forecasts capex of $38bn to $40bn and total expenditure of $96bn to $98bn for the full year.
