Swisscom: 9m net profit down 2.1%.
(CercleFinance.com) - Swisscom reports sales of 8173m CHF for the first nine months of the year, virtually unchanged from the same period a year earlier (8202m CHF).
EBIT was 1,652m CHF, down 3.6%, while net profit was 1,283m CHF, down 2.1%.
Swisscom remains on course, on the strength of virtually stable sales and a solid operating result, management said regarding the first nine months of 2024.
Our infrastructure and products enable us to operate at the highest level, as evidenced by our repeated victories in the connect tests for best fixed network and best service, it added.
For FY 2024, Swisscom expects sales of around 11bn CHF and EBITDA of 4.5bn to 4.6bn CHF.
If these targets are achieved, Swisscom intends to propose an 'attractive and unchanged' dividend of 22 CHF per share for FY 2024 to the 2025 AGM.
