Stellantis: reiterates financial forecasts for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - Stellantis announces a decline in Q3 2024 net sales.
Net sales fell by 27% y-o-y to E33bn, mainly due to lower consolidated sales and an unfavourable mix, as well as the impact of prices and exchange rates.
Consolidated sales for the three months to 30 September 2024 totaled 1,148,000 units, down 20% y-o-y.
Q3 2024 was marked by production disruptions on several models as part of a transformation of the global product offering, planned inventory reductions in North America and headwinds from a difficult market environment in Europe, it explains.
The product offensive remains very dynamic to deliver 20 new models in 2024. Total inventory of 1,330,000 units at 30 September 2024 was down 129,000 units since the start of the year.
The reception for the new products is very favorable, with orders for over 50,000 units for the new Citroën C3, and around 75,000 units for the new Peugeot 3008, and over 200 dealers in place for the European launch of Leapmotor, management says.
The company reiterates its financial forecasts for 2024, which were updated on 30 September 2024.
