Vinci: agreement to acquire FM Conway in England

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Construction announces that it has reached an agreement to acquire FM Conway Limited, described as a leading civil engineering company in England.


FM Conway's expertise encompasses roadworks, civil engineering, asphalt and binder production, as well as a range of specialty businesses (water and wastewater networks, lighting, cabling and road traffic management), Vinci says.

Founded in 1961, FM Conway is owned by the Conway family. Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, the company operates throughout England, particularly in the south-east of the country.

Completion of the transaction is subject to the necessary regulatory approvals, and is scheduled for early 2025.

The integration of FM Conway will strengthen VINCI Construction's position in the highly dynamic South East England market.
