ABB: opens new U.S. campus

(CercleFinance.com) - ABB announces the opening of a new $100 million campus in New Berlin, Wisconsin, to increase production capacity for industrial electric motors and services in the United States.


This new capacity fully meets the requirements of the Build America Buy America Act (BABAA).

The new campus will be home to more than 700 ABB employees and is expected to create an additional 100 new jobs over the next three years.

Geothermal heating and modern HVAC systems will enable ABB to recycle waste heat, eliminate the use of natural gas and reduce energy consumption by more than 45%.
