Ericsson: receives 'FutureNet Asia 2024 Award' with DNB

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson and Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) have won the 'FutureNet Asia 2024 Award' for their AI-based operations solution applied to Malaysia's 5G network.


This solution - using AI and advanced 5G technologies - improves network management and resilience, offering customized services with dedicated network segments and service level agreements (SLAs), says Ericsson.

DNB's 5G MOCN network, which integrates six operators, also benefits from RedCap technology to accelerate digitization in Malaysia.

At Mobile World Congress 2024, Ericsson signed an agreement to supply software compliant with 3GPP Release 18 (specifications covering cellular telecommunications technologies, including radio access, core network and service capabilities), enhancing network security and energy efficiency.
