Beneteau: finalizes sale of its Habitat business
(CercleFinance.com) - The Beneteau Group announces that it has received approval from the French Competition Authority for the sale of its Habitat business, which specializes in the manufacture of mobile homes for the open-air hotel industry, to the Trigano Group, a major European player in the leisure vehicle sector.
This operation involves the acquisition of 100% of its subsidiary BIO Habitat, including the O'Hara, IRM and Coco Sweet brands, as well as all its employees in France and Italy.
'This sale marks the opening of a new chapter in the history of the Beneteau Group. It will enable us to focus on our historic core business of yachting," said Bruno Thivoyon, CEO of Groupe Beneteau.
