Vivendi: resolutions adopted for demerger project

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi reports that its Supervisory Board has approved the resolutions to be submitted to its Combined General Meeting on 9 December to approve the demerger of Canal+, Havas and Louis Hachette Group.


Each Vivendi shareholder entitled to participate in the demerger will receive, for each share held, one Canal+ share, one Havas NV share and one Louis Hachette Group share, while retaining their Vivendi share.

If the proposed demerger is approved by the General Meeting, the first listing of the shares of the three companies will take place on 16 December, enabling trading on the stock exchange to take place from that date.
