Exel Industries: stable sales for the year
(CercleFinance.com) - Exel Industries has announced sales of 1.
1 billion euros for its 2023-24 financial year, up slightly by 0.5% (+0.7% on a like-for-like basis), including a 3.7% (-4.2% in organic terms) decline in the last quarter, to 290 million.
'Exel Industries held up well this quarter, as it did throughout the year, thanks to the diversity of its activities, each with its own cyclical nature. Industry once again demonstrated its ability to support the Group's growth", emphasizes its CEO Daniel Tragus.
"However, several activities suffered from the destocking undertaken by our customers, as in agricultural spraying and the marine industry, while the garden activity was affected by weather conditions that were not very conducive to consumption", he adds.
