Colgate-Palmolive: higher, tighter targets for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - Colgate-Palmolive is raising its 2024 targets, aiming for adjusted EPS growth of between 10 and 11% (instead of 8-11%), and sales growth of between 3 and 5% (of which 7-8% organic).
In the third quarter, the personal care products group saw its EPS rise by 6% to $0.91, on revenues up 2.4% to $5.03 billion (+6.8% organic), "thanks to a healthy balance between volume growth and price increases".
We expect to continue to invest in advertising through to the end of the year, as we focus on strengthening the health of the brand and expanding the capabilities needed to drive growth", says CEO Noel Wallace.
