USA: +4.1% new home sales in September

3% in August, new home sales in the USA rose by 4.1% in September, according to the Commerce Department, to 738,000 annualized and seasonally adjusted figures.

The median price of new homes sold was $426,300, and the average price was $501,000. At 470,000, the inventory of new homes ready for sale represents a 7.6-month supply at the current rate.
