Beiersdorf: upbeat after quarterly update

(CercleFinance.com) - Beiersdorf gains 3% in Frankfurt, after announcing sales of 7.
55 billion euros for the first nine months of 2024, up 4% on a reported basis and 6.5% organically 'in a dynamic market environment'.

The German cosmetics group points out that its consumer segment recorded organic growth of 7.3%, driven in particular by Nivea (+9.4%) and Derma (+8.8%), while the tesa segment grew organically by 3.1%.

On the basis of forecasts for its two segments, Beiersdorf confirms that it anticipates organic sales growth of 6-8% for 2024 as a whole, and an adjusted EBIT margin slightly above the previous year's level.
