Eni: KKR acquires a 25% stake in Enilive

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces an agreement with KKR, which will take a 25% stake in Enilive for E2.
93bn.

This includes a capital increase of E500m reserved for KKR and the purchase of Enilive shares for E2.43bn, corresponding to a post-money valuation of E11.75bn.

Eni will also make a capital increase of E500m to guarantee a debt-free company.

Eni said that the agreement marked an important step in Eni's energy transition strategy.

The transaction's closing is subject to the usual legal approvals.
